She has cultivated a successful career, working with diverse populations, within the healthcare industry and a strong passion for serving older adults. Erin develops programs based on sound therapeutic principles, drawing upon her clinical experiences, and tailoring them to individual needs. Maintaining independence for aging loved ones is crucial. Erin is dedicated to enhancing each resident’s well-being through non-pharmacological approaches, addressing social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual needs while ensuring high-quality services in programming.

Liz holds more than 23 years of experience in hospitality and food service. She is a certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional. In her role she applies nutrition principles, documents nutrition information, ensures food safety and manages the dining team. Her career in senior living began when she was still in high school and it became a passion. “I enjoy their stories and caring for them.”

Kristin Grenier

Kristin has worked in the senior care industry for almost 26 years, starting in adult care. She has transitioned through skilled nursing environments to Regional Director for Assisted Livings with Dementia care as well as independent settings. Kristin has certificates in Gerontology, Therapeutic Counseling and Therapeutic Recreation. She also holds a Bachelors in English and Communications with the University of Connecticut. Kristin is involved in senior services and senior care in many different roles; from one-on-one counseling for individual families and in group settings to partnering with a non-profit to support Veterans and help to educate the community at large about resources available to seniors in all walks of life. She is thrilled to join Cedar Mountain Commons and be a part of the team to keep the building vibrant by adding new, qualified residents and keeping the community at capacity.

Angel is the Assistant Director of Environmental Services at Hartford HealthCare campuses, currently overseeing Cedar Mountain Commons. He has proudly served for more than 15 years, developed skills, learned new policies and procedures and managed his teams and spaces effectively. With a specialty in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, Angel ensures that proper techniques and updated protocols are consistently applied to protect the health and well-being of those under his care. With a strong commitment to continuous learning and staff development, he plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for all.

Linda is a seasoned human service professional with a wide variety of experiences. Her early career was spent working in mental health in various transitional settings such as homeless shelters, halfway houses, inpatient hospitals, residential treatment and residential schools. In the last 20 years, she has focused on seniors and their later stages in life, helping individuals meet their vision of a fulfilling life. Linda loves that Cedar Mountain Commons allows her to use her skills in a place where she can help the residents navigate the challenges of this stage of life.

She currently serves as the Director of Wellness at Cedar Mountain Commons in the senior service space, where she focuses on promoting the health and well-being of residents through comprehensive care and wellness initiatives. In her recent role as a care manager, Simona excelled in coordinating comprehensive care plans, providing critical support to patients and families during key transitions. Her expertise extends beyond clinical care, as she actively engages in initiatives that address health disparities within underserved communities. Passionate about community health and patient empowerment, Simona is dedicated to fostering healthier communities and shaping the future of nursing. Her extensive experience, leadership, and advocacy underscores her commitment to making a meaningful and lasting impact in healthcare.

A Newington native, and a proud father, He started his Journey in Healthcare at the age of 16 working in a kitchen and workshops in his community. His desire to help people grew as did his knowledge of healthcare and Building Systems and soon he found myself switching from fixing food to fixing everything! A friendly and approachable person with a passion for Communication and Hands on work Tor is always eager to learn new things and enjoy exploring different perspectives.
