Denise has worked in healthcare since she was a teenager, starting as a dietary aide in a skilled nursing facility and becoming a director of dietary services after graduating from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor of Science in dietetics. She transitioned to admissions and marketing in assisted living in 2005. In addition to her work experience, Denise has been actively involved in several community organizations, as a resource, fundraiser, and more. She has also been a dedicated volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association for more than 12 years, having served on the Education Conference committee and as the chairperson of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s of Greater Hartford for 10 years.

Debbie has more than 25 years of experience developing and managing various educational and recreational projects in the healthcare industry. Debbie’s strong communication skills, flair for creativity and ability to be an involved participant in the residents’ lives has earned her recognition from the Connecticut Assisted Living Association, which acknowledged her Great Artists program with a Managed Residential Services Award. In 2014, Debbie received a Clarence J. Silvia Leadership Award for her exemplary dedication to Cedar Mountain Commons and its residents.

A true team player and former Jefferson House Employee of the Year, Diovadis is responsible for the grounds and building maintenance of Cedar Mountain Commons. With more than 20 years’ experience, Diovadis is known as the “Johnny on the spot.” He is dedicated to quality service and committed to providing a safe living and working environment for residents, their families, guests and staff.

Liz holds more than 23 years of experience in hospitality and food service. She is a certified dietary manager and certified food protection professional. In her role she applies nutrition principles, documents nutrition information, ensures food safety and manages the dining team. Her career in senior living began when she was still in high school and it became a passion. “I enjoy their stories and caring for them.”

Nicole has worked in real estate for the past 13 years and recently transitioned into healthcare in our assisted living community. She strives to achieve maximum occupancy at Cedar Mountain Commons by attracting qualified prospects to the community and converting those prospects into residents. Nicole holds her CT Real Estate license along with her bachelor's degree from Central Connecticut State University. She is an active member of her community and has found her time at Cedar Mountain Commons very rewarding.

Yenson has been a dedicated Environmental Services Manager offering 10 plus years of experience from Hartford Hospital. He is focused on customer service and has an eye for consistency and details. Yenson has successfully managed to coordinate and complete countless projects to impact patient experiences.

Linda is a seasoned human service professional with a wide variety of experiences. Her early career was spent working in mental health in various transitional settings such as homeless shelters, halfway houses, inpatient hospitals, residential treatment and residential schools. In the last 20 years, she has focused on seniors and their later stages in life, helping individuals meet their vision of a fulfilling life. Linda loves that Cedar Mountain Commons allows her to use her skills in a place where she can help the residents navigate the challenges of this stage of life.

Sheila has been a nurse who has worked in healthcare for over 35 years. She has spent her time in hospitals in adult cardiac care units, home healthcare and assisted living communities.

Before Cedar Mountain Commons, Sheila was director of clinical services at a Federally Qualified Health Center. As the Wellness Director at Cedar Mountain Commons, Sheila strives to maintain residents' independence while supporting and ensuring they remain safe while they age in place.
