This is a free educational session for patients who are ready to begin the program or want to learn more about surgical weight loss. Each 90-minute virtual session includes details of every aspect of the journey from the first step to after surgery, plus a Q&A with the surgeon.
Patients are required to attend the info session associated with the hospital/surgeon of their choice to learn about bariatric surgery.
This info session is for patients interested in Backus Hospital and surgeon Mia Shapiro, MD. Our program, and all appointments, take place in our Norwich area offices. After attending our info session, an initial consultation appointment with our bariatric surgeon will be scheduled by our office staff.
After you register online, our office staff will contact you with the virtual class connection instructions to complete your class registration.
